Undocumented changes
- Added Goldfish, Pocket Lint, Cheese Wheel, Banana Peel, Barn Door Plank, Secret Diary, and Damaged Capacitor
- Removed the 'csrk' equip region and added 'crsk_left' and 'crsk_right' equip regions.
- Updated the localization files

ReplyDeleteCould the new equip regions and craft items be something to do with the big thing coming in 'TF2012'? Or is it for a summer event? Maybe even Meet the Pyro? I'm so anxious to find out.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen a Secret Diary drop yet, although apparently one sold for a buds on a Skial server. They seem to be the rarest item, followed by the Damaged Capacitor, Cheese Wheel, Barn Door Plank, Banana Peel, Goldfish and Pocket Lint in that order.
ReplyDeleteAs far as my experience with these drops go, the Secret Diary is a very rare drop, kinda like a Salvaged/hat drop, while I've seen the Pocket Lint and Banana Peels drop very frequently along with common items. Planks, Goldfish and Capacitors are a little more difficult to come by, but they're not as rare as Diaries are.
ReplyDeleteAlso, theories about the capacitor (at least one I found on a GameFAQs thread) say that the 6.22 and V1500 engraved on it mean June 22nd and 1500 hours (3:00 PM) Victor time, meaning the time zone is -0900, or GMT-9, which means the time is around 5PM Pac-8PM Est. It makes a lot of sense, but would this mean the update will really come on June 22nd at those times, or it's Valve trolling us like always?
Only way to find out is to wait. Wonder what these items will do. 'til then I'll try to obtain them all!
