Today's key (June 14th) has been won.

TheManipulator has won today's free key.  He was the first to send us the correct code from the Steam Workshop Scavenger Hunt Round 2 (link here).  Several people did not follow the complete instructions and sent in only the first part of the Hunt: "Man Company Crate Fifteen".  TheManipulator and many others followed the complete instructions and found "Dark Salmon Injustice" which was today's code.  Congratulations to TheManipulator and good luck to everyone for tomorrow's free key (details here).

  1. Wow, this one was really hard, but I liked it even though I lost. I didn't get the meaning of 'look up what you spelled', which is what killed me here. Damn, why I didn't remember it was 'Mann'? -.-

    Anywho, congrats to the winner!

  2. Complete instructions, lol. I had I scrolled down some more I would've seen them. Congrats to the winner! We should do more of these complex ones, they're quite fun to figure out. Keep up the good work!

    1. Just for curiosity, are you the Breeze that won the key where you had to guess crafting recipes? If so, how the hell did you send them so fast? D:

  3. I liked it, except for the last part. On my google search, crate number 15 does not show up on my google search unless i add "tf2", which threw me off. I like the game and all, but you should make sure your instructions work for everyone. Remember, not everyone's google search is the same.

    1. P.S. I did try both "15" and "fifteen" in my searches

    2. That required a little thinking, yes, not just clicking on google's first link.

  4. i dont think you understand, i followed your precise instructions, and it did not show up anywhere on the page, the first link and more. i love what you're doing here, but that last set of instructions was extremely vague, misleading, and unthoughtful.

    1. If I hadn't gotten dozens of correct answers I would consider your argument. It was harder, let's leave it at that.

    3. No, it was a blog post. Very much in plain view.

  5. First, yeah I too like this type more than some of the hints as it takes some work and thinking on our part, as some of the other clue were more about speed of sending in your answer.

But for this one, I didn't get that look up meant to look it up in the wiki. I am not sure how those who got that part of the clue deduced that meaning.

Anyhow, thanks for this contest. I hope I get lucky soon...

    1. A couple people have complained about that. We didn't want people to skip to the end and just guess crate items so we made it vague. Lots of people got it right so I don't think it was impossible by any means. Some of these are going to be harder than others.
