TF2 Google Spreadsheet has moved!
Yes. The spreadsheet has a new home. While editing the latest item count percentages which replaced the item counts, I realized that there is never enough room for commentary on the items or what is happening in the TF2 marketplace. This will allow the spreadsheet to remain the most important item but also to make commentary on the TF2 marketplace possible. It will also allow more information on statistics to see where people are coming from to see the spreadsheet.

ugh....liked the google spreadsheet much more..........
ReplyDeleteLooks good! Just keep it current and I dont care what the url is!
ReplyDeleteUse the older counter (numbers) instead of current(%). After this things will be perfect, again.
ReplyDeleteIt being in a box and scrollable makes it feel sorta constricted, the old layout was a lot more open. Also the % count on the items isn't nearly as good as the number count was, and it doesn't really help with much, especially as it isn't accurate (100% of players have ghastlier gibus despite it being a 2009 halloween item and most players are from the 2011 F2P update)
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I like about the new site is the new URL, which is much easier to find if a bookmark is lost or you are telling someone about the spreadsheet
My iTouch can't see the whole thing! The scroll bar doesn't work on iOS, so I can only see stuff at or above Spine-Chilling Skull! Please Fix/Help!
ReplyDeleteCould you make iframe without scrollbars?
ReplyDeleteIn regards to the scrollbar requests, I will look into tinkering with the scrollbar. Unfortunately for layout purposes I believe the vertical scrolling will remain. I may be able to remove the horizontal scrollbar completely.
ReplyDeletehey, can you make the list before this comes ? i cant see all of the list with the steam browser. And i cant sort it to find faster the names of items... pls make it who the old version.
ReplyDeleteSteam Browser issues: A few of you have asked about the in-game steam browser compatibility. What I've found is using the up/down arrows while you mouse-over the spreadsheet allows you to smoothly scroll up and down.
ReplyDeleteYou should add another column to linking pictures you upload on your blog.
ReplyDeleteHello, thanks for your work. I use this list a lot.
ReplyDeleteSuggestions: Remove the scrollbars or make a downloadable excel file for easy search
I prefer % rather than #
Giant Crab: what pictures are you thinking?
ReplyDeleteLucano: I'll look into the download feature. We're going to migrate to an XML spreadsheet eventually, but that might be a good interim step.
ReplyDeleteThanks for keepin this goin.
ReplyDeletejust wondering what does the *'s by team captain and stuff mean?
ReplyDeleteNikhil - you can see most special notes in the "key" tab at the bottom of the sheet. The asterisks were meant to note the new craft numbering system for crafted hats. It was more functional for the time, and we will probably take them off soon. Craft #'s are a system for having scarcity for the new hats. Generally single digit #'s have the only significant lasting value.
ReplyDeleteHow much is a store bought Last Breath worth?
ReplyDeleteNon-craftable (dirty) hats are worth less than their clean counterparts. The Last Breath is a high-value hat so it would still be worth close to full value, maybe 1-2 refined less. Start at 1 ref (if you're selling it) and then go up to 2 for a discount.
ReplyDeleteHow much is the entire Saints row 3 set worth?
ReplyDeleteI'm debating whether to get it or not and I only have 4 days.
OMJ: There is no set value yet. However, you can guess that the value will be in line with the price of the game to start and move down soon after. This is a more expensive game so fewer people will buy it. There is no stats for the items on tf2stats yet.
ReplyDeleteOur suggestion is always: buy a game because you will play it, not just to try and profit on the TF2 items. The items are a bonus for buying a game you get enjoyment from.
what do u mean by clean and dirty hats???
