Today's key (June 11th) has been won.

Breeze has won today's key.  He was the first to email us the correct code which was Claidheamh Mor, Candy Cane and Tribalman's Shiv.  The code was a blog post which was a quiz on three crafting recipes.  Probably the fastest way to answer would have been to go to the TF2 Official Wiki and look up an item from each crafting recipe.  On each item's page there is a recipe to craft it (if any) and other recipes the particular item is used in.

How well do you know your crafting recipes?

Thanks for staying with us throughout the day.  Tonight we are going to do a little quiz on TF2 crafting recipes.  The correct code is the names of the three items that are crafted with the following recipes.  Email all 3 item names (and your steam id) here.  They don't have to be spelled correctly nor do the answers have to be in order.

• Fixed a rare case where the offensive/defensive buff particle effects could get stuck on players

Undocumented changes

• Added "tobor_a" item quality.
• Added a currently unused Equip Region, "crsk"
• The Gentle Manne's Service Medal now makes small medal sounds in the backpack.

Z V G has won today's key.  He was the first to send us the correct code of the day which was 'the pencil pusher is mightier than the eyelander'.  It was hidden at the end of my profile on the right side and said "This is for the item o' the day...(the pencil pusher is mightier than the eyelander) move fast!".  Congratulations to Z V G for winning the key.  Good luck to everyone for tomorrow's free key (more info here).

correction: the common phrase is "the pen is mightier than the sword" and had "sword" in my brain when I posted the winner above.  The full code was of course the original phrase I posted with "eyelander".

JohnnyBravo was today's winner of the key.  He was the first to email us with the correct code which was "clef".   It was hidden in the Links we Like section and read '2day's winning text: "clef"'.  Congratulations to JohnnyBravo and good luck to everyone for tomorrow's free key (details here if you are late to the key giveaway).

Math skillz activate! deltaSEV-FOUR was the first to send us the correct code for today, 11 keys. He successfully answered the question: If Freddy has 14 refined, 16 reclaimed, 42 scrap and 73 scout weapons, how many keys (rounded to the nearest key) can he buy at a price of 2.55 refined metals per key?

The best way to answer this question is to go in reverse. 73 scout weapons is 36.5 scrap, add that to 42 and he has 78.5 scrap total. Divide that by 3 and its about 26 reclaimed plus the original 16 reclaimed and he now has 42 reclaimed total. Divide that by 3 and its about 14 refined, added to his original 14 refined and he now has 28 refined total. Divide 28 by 2.55 and you get 11 keys.
