TFportal.net
Sometimes we like to link to sites around the internets that we think are interesting. TFPortal.net is one of them. This site is based in Germany and appears to be up to the German standards of efficient design and showing some innovation. They have ETF2L info (the European TF2 League), forums and lots of general TF2 gaming information. Interestingly they also have a trading system (direct link here), similar to the look and feel of tf2tp.com and tf2outpost.com. Check them out. We do have many friends from Germany who visit us here, and let this also serve as a shout-out to them.

Crate unboxing values
Every once in a while we see sites and tools in the TF2 community that we think are cool. The Crate Unboxing spreadsheet is one of them. It gives actual values (in scrap) of the average unboxed item and even factors in the cost of the key to unbox. Very nice.
As of today (it gets updated once per week) the best crates to unbox look to be Salvaged Crate #30 (which is a no-brainer) and crates #13 and 14. Also the current crate #37 is near the top of the realized value but that is more a function of it being new. The coveted #19 crate is also up there.
Overall a smart little tool. Link here. FAQ is here.

A link is a link
We added "Links we like" to the right column at the bottom. These are a few that our editors consult with daily. If you see one that you like, leave some feedback. If you have a killer link we overlooked, let us know. That is all.
